About the role

We are on the lookout for a committed and energetic individual who loves being in service and connecting with people to join our team as a Café Manager for our Relay store in Auckland Airport.

You will lead our team as they provide unparalleled service to people from all walks of life across our Cafe with integrated retail featuring books & confectionary. You will ensure our team consistently delivers above and beyond while serving premium coffee and bakery products.

Our Relay store, provides our customers with a wide range of products including newspapers, books, magazines, stationery, and confectionery. Our Relay store is a one shop destination to surprise and delight our travellers and we are looking for people that have a genuine interest in helping customers shop for all their travel needs!

To be successful, you will need:

  • An ability to engage with our customers and make every transaction magical so that you are leading by example for your team!
  • Solid and demonstrated experience in a similar role leading a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and exceptional presentation standards
  • Commitment and accountability to ensure you can manage the store effectivity and be a true Brand Ambassador
  • Solid skills in coaching and developing team members
  • To bring your higher self to work and show respect for others through your words and actions
  • To be flexible to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday which may include early morning, late nights (adjust or amend to suit)
