About the role

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic Cooks to join our team in a Casual capacity at Brisbane Airport to support our team with kitchen operations at our Espresso Bar opened in partnership with local coffee roaster Bellissimo Coffee!

We’re looking for people who love a fast-paced environment with a diverse team that can prepare food including:

• Cooking and serving of customer meals to order
• Daily food preparation, plating & packing orders
• Cleaning and maintenance of cooking and food preparation areas
• Setup or shutdown of kitchen
• Assistance with daily stock take and rotation of stock
• General kitchen duties where required

Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment as well as good knowledge of food safety/compliance and a current Food Safety supervisor certificate is necessary.

Ability to work a flexible rotating roster that may include 4.00AM starts as well as some 10.00PM closes. Ideally you will have your own mode of transport such as a car to meet these commitments. Also the ability to commit to a couple of shifts per week in the afternoon/evenings and ideally Friday and Saturdays as this is a casual position!
