We are looking for a qualified WHS Manager to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. As the owner of the WHS space, you will drive a best practice approach to safety across our network and ensure compliance with policy and procedure.

The Role:

✅ Monitor and report on WHS process compliance
✅ Manage the WHS management system, policy, and workers' compensation
✅ Provide advice and support to stores, warehouses, and support locations on WHS and regulatory matters
✅ Develop and implement the WHS strategic and operational plan
✅ Maintain safety management manuals, registers, and systems
✅ Perform thorough investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses
✅ Design, organise, and deliver training materials on health and safety practices
✅ Analyse WHS data, report on trends, and provide recommendations
✅ Negotiate premiums with relevant insurers

Some key responsibilities also include:
✅ Conducting Risk Assessments: Identifying hazards and controlling risks in the workplace
✅ Developing Safety Policies: Creating and implementing health and safety procedures
✅ Providing Training: Educating employees on WHS procedures and emergency protocols
✅ Investigating Incidents: Looking into workplace accidents and incidents


Qualifications and Experience:
🎓 Cert IV WHS or equivalent qualifications
📚 Extensive knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, codes, and standards
🪪 Demonstrated WHS experience in a high-risk and operational environment
💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office
📊 Strong problem-solving skills
🕒️ Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
🗣️ Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
📦 Experience in retail/warehousing (preferred)
✈️ Exposure to an airport environment (highly regarded)
🗺️ Ability to travel occasionally to sites across Australia and New Zealand
