The Role:
As a Team Leader in our arrival's terminal, you’ll lead the front-line team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll serve as a Counter Manager for ONE NZ and as the first point of contact for travellers arriving in New Zealand. You’ll drive sales, coordinate the team, and ensure smooth daily operations while representing both ONE NZ and LagardèreAWPL.
The roster for this role is:
Tuesday - Saturday from 11am-7:30pm
What You’ll Do:
✅ Lead the arrivals-terminal team: coordinate staff, ensure smooth shift operations, and uphold service standards.
✅ Represent ONE NZ at the counter: share your knowledge of ONE NZ’s plans, devices, and services, and guide customers to the right solution.
✅ Deliver VIP-style customer service - fast, friendly, professional.
✅ Maintain store presentation: keep the counter attractive, organised, and aligned with brand standards.
✅ Handle transactions efficiently while managing stock, customer queries, and team coordination.
What Makes You a Perfect Fit?
🗣️ You’ve got the gift of the gab and love engaging with all kinds of people.
💼 You have retail, sales, or telco-related experience (e.g. mobile phone stores, telecommunications sales/support, or similar) — this is a big plus!
💅 You take pride in your appearance and image; you’re professional, friendly, and presentable.
⏰ You’re flexible for early starts, late finishes, weekends & public holidays – because airport life never stops!
🪪 You’re legally able to work in NZ and can obtain an Airport Aviation Security ID Card.
