With 150+ stores across Australia and New Zealand, we bring big brands to life in airports and travel hubs. Our dynamic team of 1,500+ professionals work across 40 unique retail concepts – and now, we want YOU to join our Foodservice family.

The Role

At LivEat, we’re all about nutritious, chef‑prepared meals that support a healthy, active lifestyle. We deliver great food fast, using quality ingredients and consistent preparation — without compromising on taste.

We’re looking for an experienced, hands‑on Kitchen Manager to lead the back‑of‑house operations at our LivEat store within an airport environment. This is a full‑time role suited to someone who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑volume settings.

You will take ownership of day‑to‑day kitchen production, team leadership, food safety, and operational standards — ensuring every dish meets the highest standards of quality and consistency. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident kitchen leader who enjoys balancing people management with strong operational focus.

What You’ll Do:

✅ Lead and manage daily kitchen production to deliver LivEat brand standards
✅ Ensure all food is prepared and presented in line with recipe cards, portion control, and specifications
✅ Organise and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high-quality products and smooth service
✅ Maintain food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times
✅ Work closely with the Store Manager on staffing, sales forecasts, and SPLH targets
✅ Analyse sales and purchasing data to optimise production and minimise waste
✅ Support new product launches and collaborate with LivEat and supplier partners
✅ Recruit, onboard, train, and develop your kitchen team
✅ Foster a positive, professional, and high-performing team culture

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven experience managing kitchen production in a fast-paced foodservice environment
✅ Strong understanding of standard recipes, portion control, and food presentation
✅ Solid knowledge of food safety systems, hygiene, and WHS compliance
✅ Experience with ordering, cost control and waste management
✅ Confident people leader who can train, coach, and motivate diverse teams
✅ Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills
✅ Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with sales and purchasing data
✅ Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early starts, weekends, and public holidays
✅ Valid working rights and ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card (ASIC)
✅ Experience with workforce management systems (e.g. Kronos) highly regarded
