The Role:

Lead the people-partnering function for one of the Pacific's most dynamic travel-retail businesses and help build a genuinely leader-led HR model from the ground up. 

This is a newly created leadership role.
As HR Business Partner Manager, you'll lead and coordinate our HR Business Partner team across ANZ, lifting the strategic capacity and consistency of people partnering and embedding a model where business leaders own their people outcomes, supported by a great HR team. 


What You’ll Do:

✅ Lead, coach and develop the HRBP team (one HR Business Partner NZ and two Senior HR Business Partners) ensuring consistency and quality of HR practices across the organisation.
✅ Support leadership teams in defining and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
✅ Partner with leaders to enhance performance, engagement, and organisational effectiveness. 
✅ Strengthen capability, succession and internal talent mobility across ANZ. 
Provide senior oversight on complex employee relations and compliance across Australia and New Zealand. 


Qualifications & Experience

✅ Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating a team of HR business partners in a complex, multi-site environment. 
✅ Strong generalist HR background with depth in employee relations and employment compliance (Australia, and ideally New Zealand). 
✅ Ability to build the people-leadership capability of managers. 
✅ Commercially astute, data-literate, hands-on and pragmatic; comfortable operating amid change. 
✅ Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Law or related (post-grad / AHRI desirable)
