We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Services Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic team and provide efficient, professional, and confidential support to the NHVR’s Legal Services Unit. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in Ensuring the smooth functioning of our legal services unit. The role will be based at NHVR Head Office, Newstead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full administrative support to the Legal Services Unit.
  • Participating in software testing, and contributing to the development of user guides for case management software
  • Manage various registers, including the NHVR’s contracts and memoranda of understanding registers, ensuring they are up to date.
  • Coordinate in-house legal training.
  • Monitor team mailboxes, assist with recruitment support, and coordinate internal approvals and contract executions.
  • Maintain registers of legal instruments and agreements, approved forms, and liaise with stakeholders regarding them.
  • Manage competing demands with a proactive attitude, delivering quality results within agreed timelines.
  • Provide general administrative assistance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant procedures and timelines.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting an in-house legal team or law firm practice group.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a range of administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential materials.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and adapt to changing demands.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat Pro, Visio, and document execution software (e.g., DocuSign).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A Justice of the Peace qualification is highly regarded but not essential.
