About the role
Exciting opportunity for a Property Coordinator, this role will support the National Property Lead to develop, implement, and drive continuous improvement within the property portfolio you will be responsible for administering, negotiating, and managing the leases/licenses. Reporting to the National Property Lead, you will also work collaboratively across different teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Support the National Property Lead to develop, implement, and drive continuous improvement within the property portfolio
- Contribute to the strategy formulation to effectively establish and manage the state facilities portfolio to mitigate identified risks and ensure ongoing business continuity
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders including landlords, contractors, facility managers, suppliers and other government departments to ensure value for money and outcome that reflect the needs of the NHVR
- Assist in the preparation of, management and oversight of property management budgets
- Manage Key Critical Dates within all leases, agreements and Deeds ensuring compliance with lease terms and conditions
- Coordinate the rental roll for the portfolio to ensure rental payments are made timely and compliant to leasing conditions
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by embracing opportunities and innovations that lead to improved service delivery, technology efficiency and integration across the portfolio.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess
- Experience within the Commercial Leasing Sector
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing a large, diverse in nature portfolio.
- Proven and effective interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and management
- Ability in negotiation and drafting of leasing documentation including Heads of Agreements, Leases, Memorandum of Understanding, Variations etc
- Experience in end-to-end property management experience managing a diverse portfolio of properties
