Job Summary

The Communication Arts Technology Program at Jefferson Community & Technical College has openings for an Adjunct instructor to teach A course in Digital Video.

Job Duties:

This is a part time position. The primary responsibilities of this position are to teach courses in Digital Video, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback. This position is required to teach at the downtown campus of JCTC. Knowledge, skills, and abilities in scriptwriting, video capture, audio capture, video editing, audio editing, directing, lighting, pre-production, production, post-production, production assisting, deliverables are required.

Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates in related area, or Associates in different area and relevant experience.

Physical Requirements: Occasional and /or light lifting – limited exposure to disagreeable environmental elements (heat, cold, dirt, chemicals, etc.)
