Job Duties: The ideal candidate must provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff. Academic Advisors will provide accurate information to students about program curriculum and requirements. Academic Advisors are essential in helping the student identify academic and career goals and devising a plan to achieve those goals. |
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (Education with a focus on Counseling or Student Affairs, or related field), and four years of related experience, or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication required. Must exercise considerable judgment and apply experience in making decisions and work as a member of a high-functioning team. The ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and adjust to changing priorities is necessary. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes both daytime and evening hours as well as travel to other campus locations. |
