Job Summary Owensboro Community and Technical College in partnership with HealthForce Kentucky is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time, 12-month Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist – Nursing Faculty position within the Professional and Technical Studies of Academic Affairs. This role is integral to supporting healthcare education through the development and facilitation of laboratory skills and healthcare simulation scenarios. The selected individual will collaborate with faculty and staff to design and implement low and high-fidelity simulation experiences aimed at enhancing clinical competencies and decision-making skills among students. While the primary focus will be on supporting the Nursing program, the position may also provide simulation support for the Radiography, Medical Assisting, Surgical Technology, Veterinary Technology, and EMS–Paramedic programs as needed. |
Job Duties: • Facilitate and participate in all aspects of the laboratory/simulation experiences. |
Minimum Qualifications: • Must hold an active, unencumbered, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or a compact state. |
Preferred Qualifications: • Existing Master of Science in Nursing preferred. |
