Job Summary

This data-heavy position works closely with dual credit partners, faculty, and the dual credit team to ensure students are prepared to onboard and be successful throughout their dual credit academic career. This role includes behind-the-scenes work regarding prospective, current, and recent dual credit students with the dual credit program at BCTC. The Dual Credit Administrative Coordinator will report directly to the Associate Dean of Dual Credit.

Job Duties:

1. Completing data entry related to dual credit course building. This includes but is not limited to working with dual credit advisors and the college course scheduler, and requesting schedule details necessary for review.

2. Work with potential Dual Credit Instructors regarding credentials and academic department approval. This includes but is not limited to working with dual credit advisors, academic departments, and tracking and following up on details necessary for review. Finalize eligibility communications with potential instructors.

3. Work with dual credit faculty to ensure their KCTCS accounts set up. Serve as a conduit between dual credit adjunct faculty and BCTC technology services.

4. Responsible for sending standard communications under the direction of the Director from the dual credit office to students and instructors.

5. Work with students to ensure accounts are set up and students are utilizing these accounts. Serve as a conduit between students and DualEnroll for application and enrollment; between students and BCTC technology services for BlackBoard and UserAccounts

6. Provide outreach to secondary partners regarding dual credit needs (class information, student information, etc.)

7. Work with Associate Dean of Dual Credit and Assistant Director of Advising & Dual Credit to address KCTCS/CPE clean up reports, complete waiver/scholarship processes, and completing annual MOA development and completion.

8. Assist with BCTC Dual Credit email account.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and four years related experience, or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and six years related experience, or equivalent.
