Job Summary

The qualified candidate will teach online sections of OST 105: Introduction to Information Systems providing students with a core foundation in Microsoft Office products and basic information literacy. The college uses a master course approach, so faculty will be provided a fully built course with the expectation to grade assignments, provide regular and substantive interaction in the course, and field student questions as well as other minor administrative duties like reporting no-shows, completing early alert surveys, submitting student learning outcome data, and posting final grades/last date of attendance

Job Duties:

  • Teach OST 105: Introduction to Information Systems
  • Submit syllabi, no-show reports, final grades, and student learning outcomes
  • Submit early alerts for students needing additional assistance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration or a substantially related field
  • Two years of technology-related work experience
  • Ideally, MOS certifications 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous teaching experience desired.
  • Experience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred.
  • Experience working at the community college level is preferred.
