Job Summary

TRIO Student Support Services is hiring a Project Assistant to provide administrative support including answering phones, managing correspondence, maintaining records and data, preparing reports and materials, and assisting with student travel and project activities. This is a part-time position and will be classified as temporary.

Job Duties:

-Answer telephone and receive visitors
-Handle Student Support Services correspondence
-Maintain participant files and data
-Provide data entry support
-Respond to inquiries about Student Support Services project(s)
-Process Student Support Services project reports
-Prepare Workshop materials
-Maintain fiscal records, files, and reports
-Maintain documentation for project administration
-Assist in making arrangements for student travel and other Student Support Services activities

Minimum Qualifications:

-Associate degree or higher
-One year experience required, three years experiences preferred in office administration
-Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
-Strong word processing, spelling, grammar skills
Filing, bookkeeping competency
-Ability to relate to students
 

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with TRIO software preferred
