Job Summary ECTC is seeking an Academic Advisor III for the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) program. The EOC is a federally funded grant program that provides counseling and information on college admissions to first-generation and limited-income adults who want to enter or continue a program of postsecondary education. want to enter or continue a program of postsecondary education. The program also provides services to improve the financial and economic literacy of participants including counseling on financial aid options, basic financial planning skills, and to assist in the FAFSA application process. The goal of the EOC program is to increase the number of adult participants who enroll in postsecondary education institutions. |

Job Duties: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: |

Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in counseling, student personnel work, education, social work, or other related field. Three years of experience working with first-generation, limited-income, or disadvantaged populations. Experience in financial aid, career counseling, and college admissions procedures is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have adequate transportation. Must be willing to travel as needed to fulfil the requirements of the grant, which could include some nights, weekends, and possible overnight trips as necessary. |
