Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to support student access, enrollment, and success
through coordination of the Community Scholarship Program, dual credit initiatives, and
recruitment efforts. This role provides advising, enrollment support, and ongoing engagement with high school and adult students while serving as a key liaison between the college, local schools, and community partners. The position also promotes academic pathways, monitors student progress, and contributes to achieving institutional enrollment and completion goals.

Job Duties:

Community Scholarship Program Facilitator - responsibilities include:
• Provide comprehensive support to all CSP students, regardless of funding status.
• Monitor/track progress across all student cohorts.
• Meet with students to development and maintain individualized academic plans aligned with their chosen majors.
• Utilize Starfish to track student progress and deliver timely interventions and support.
• Maintain consistent, proactive engagement with students throughout the community at events and meetings.
• Coordinate enrollment/teach GEN100 courses online and in-person formats to local high school students, including but not limited to CSP partner schools.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all CSP students.

Dual Credit Navigator:
• Serve assigned high schools for recruitment, enrollment, and outreach, collaborating with team members and attending dual credit events and conferences.
• Partner with faculty and high school teachers to ensure proper student course enrollment and assist teachers in becoming credentialed to teach WKCTC courses.
• Advise students using appreciative advising techniques, support academic pathway selection, and monitor progress through Starfish, sharing updates with counselors as needed.
• Implement, communicate, and ensure adherence to college policies, coordinating with Deans, Department Heads, and high schools to best serve student needs.
• Maintain accurate student records, Degree Pathway plans, and run reports to support program operations, enrollment, and partner communications.
• Assist students, parents, and school partners with college processes, maintain professional communication/collaboration with all to resolve student concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance program knowledge and service delivery.

Adult/Traditional Recruitment, Campus & Community Engagement:
• Assist students with college applications, advising, and FAFSA events to support enrollment and success.
• Plan, coordinate, execute recruitment campaigns and events on/off campus, including high school visits, campus tours, open houses, and community outreach activities.
• Support registration events and campus tours, ensuring prospective
students have a positive and informative experience.
• Collaborate with the recruitment and admissions team to align strategies with enrollment goals and help maintain the Recruitment Calendar.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience; may require an advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, etc.).
  • Typical years of relevant experience: 4-6
  • Driver's License 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education, K-12 partnerships, or dual credit programs
  • Background in student advising, recruitment, or enrollment management
  • Experience working with high school students, adult learners, and diverse populations
  • Familiarity with student success technologies (e.g., Starfish, Blackboard, student information systems)
  • Knowledge of financial aid processes, including FAFSA
  • Experience planning and coordinating events or outreach activities
  • Strong understanding of academic pathways, career exploration, and student success strategies
