Job Summary The Academic Advising Department of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for an Advisor. This position will primarily be housed on the Technical Campus with specific days assisting at the Downtown Campuses. The primary responsibilities of the position include academic advising, making referrals to appropriate academic and support services, and engagement with college retention and success initiatives. |

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (Education, Higher Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field). Candidates should have experience in higher education, preferably at a community college, and should be flexible and have the ability to manage multiple tasks. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Candidates should also have experience and sensitivity working with students from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. |
