Job Summary Somerset Community College invites applications for a Paramedic Clinical Coordinator- Instructor. This position, under indirect supervision, is responsible for the clinical aspects of the EMS-Paramedic Program. This position reports to the Program Coordinator of the EMS program and works closely with the Program Coordinator and Medical Director to ensure that each student has an appropriate educational experience. |

Job Duties:

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Must be able to obtain National Registry Paramedic Certification within 60 days. Compliant with all federal, state and local regulations, including licensing requirements as required by the discipline. Minimum three years field experience as EMT/Paramedic. KY EMS Educator certification. KY Paramedic certification. |

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) instructor certification or ability to obtain. NAEMSE Level I Educator certification. Experience in a training or educational setting. |
