Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the project budget, timelines, and compliance with grant requirements, while ensuring accurate data collection, performance tracking, and the preparation of required progress and final reports. Coordination with institutional leadership is essential to align the Southeast Scholars Program with broader goals related to enrollment, student success, and workforce development. Responsible for providing overall leadership, coordination, and accountability for the program’s expansion.

This is a grant funded project ending June 20, 2027.

Job Duties:

Budget & Financial Management
● Manage and monitor the Angell Foundation project budget
● Oversee budget planning and expenditures for SES programming in Bell and Letcher Counties
● Maintain accurate financial records (invoices, expense records)
● Ensure responsible stewardship and compliance with approved allocations

Program Planning & Operations
● Plan, coordinate, and implement academic-year and summer program sessions
● Manage logistics: transportation, workshops, community service events, supplies, and food
● Provide mentorship and ongoing student support

Student Recruitment & Enrollment
● Recruit and enroll eligible students in grades 6–11 across the SKCTC service area
● Conduct school visits and community outreach
● Verify student eligibility and maintain accurate participant records
● Communicate regularly with students and families through approved channels

Data, Reporting & Compliance
● Collect program data, evaluations, and outcome measures
● Maintain grant, financial, and program documentation
● Use CRM software (Salesforce or equivalent) to track program activity and participant data
● Prepare and submit required internal and grant-related reports
● Develop promotional materials and newsletters
● Support program visibility through outreach and communications

Partnership & Stakeholder Relations
● Build relationships with FRYSC coordinators, school guidance counselors, and key school personnel
● Develop and maintain community partnerships
● Represent the program publicly through outreach and partnership-building activities


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in education, nonprofit management, public administration, communications, or related field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree
