Job Summary The First Year Experience (FYE) area coordinator is an 11-month employee, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program and works collaboratively with the Dean of Academic Services, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, Vice Chancellor of Student Services and the College Chancellor. The area coordinator assists in the planning and effectiveness evaluation, development, and implementation of FYE program goals. The FYE area coordinator is a key individual in the program’s institutional effectiveness process. |

Job Duties: The FYE area coordinator is responsible for teaching a minimum of 15 credit hours of FYE courses in the fall semester, 12 credit hours of FYE courses in the spring semester, and 3 credit hours in the Summer Bridge program. Courses taught will be a combination of face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities. |

Minimum Qualifications: • Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution |

Preferred Qualifications: • Record of successful experience teaching college success courses |
