Job Duties

What a typical day looks like:
• Ensures journeyman level HVAC work is performed with responsibility for determining the appropriate work methods.
• Planning the assigned work, following sketches, wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Oversee maintenance and repair of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and refrigeration equipment
• Perform work orders, maintain records, and must be available for emergency call back outside of regular hours.

All HVAC Trades Technician III are on a rotating On Call/Call Back schedule. As a mission critical employee, expected to respond to any and all emergency calls as stated in CSH PPS Policy Letter #2.

Minimum Qualifications

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Full range of skills required for the maintenance and repair of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and refrigeration equipment
experience with all types of HVAC equipment including but not limited to: related control systems, small package units, window air conditioners, Rooftop units, cooling towers, ice makers, domestic refrigerators, water coolers, air dryers, hot water and steam converts, boilers, and furnaces
Knowledge of HVAC codes
Demonstrated ability to interpret wiring diagrams and blue prints
Ability to install new HVAC equipment to include physically moving equipment as necessary
Ability to operate service vehicles
Ability to perform small repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting
Basic computer skills
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Must have CFC Certification (multiple or universal)
Trade school and/or field experience

Additional Considerations

The ability to work overtime, when needed as a mission critical employee.
