Job Duties
NVMHI is seeking a part time 11 AM - 6:45 PM Food Service Worker to provide safe, quality, nutritional care to support the recovery of individuals with serious mental illness so that they may achieve more satisfying and productive lives. Position assists Food Service Technician II in food preparation, cafeteria service, cleaning and sanitation.
Minimum Qualifications
Position requires:
• Knowledge of food production
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures
• Knowledge of food service equipment – operation and sanitation
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read menus and follow recipes.
• Experience working in food preparation is required.

These positions are hourly/wage and not eligible for benefits. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than 29 hours a week and are limited to working 1500 hours in a year.
