Job Duties
~Shift Differential: Evening $2.50/Hour Weekday, Night $2.25/Hour Weekday & $3.00/Hour Weekend
The Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation (VCBR), located in Burkeville, Virginia is recruiting for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). VCBR is a behavioral treatment center recognized for securely housing and treating civilly committed sex offenders. Residents of VCBR are former DOC inmates that undergo intensive treatment aimed at reducing their risk so that they can be returned to the community, where they will be closely supervised.
This position will support and assist the Nursing Staff to promote safety and delivery of quality direct care for VCBR’s Residents; identifies and responds to patient’s immediate personal needs; communicates and interacts with residents throughout all shifts daily; assists professional staff with providing therapeutic activities in a psycho-social treatment environment; and adheres and supports recovery by following resident’s individualized treatment plan.
Minimum Qualifications
State Board License to practice as a Nursing Aid in the State of Virginia is required.
Additional Considerations
Experience in a psychiatric, health care facility, acute care, long-term care, or correction setting is preferred.
