Job Duties
The HDMC Training Assistant is responsible for supporting the learning and development needs of the agency. Responsibilities include delivering hospital-wide staff training; monitoring progression of training sessions for schedule adherence; assisting staff with accessing the state learning management system (COVLC); updating monthly staff communications such as flyers and electronic information board; maintaining training records on employees; managing the filing needs of the department.
Minimum Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills and use of Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to update spreadsheets and apply formulas using Microsoft Excel
• Ability to deliver in-person training to adult audiences of various sizes
• Ability to use presentation equipment (e.g., laptop, television monitor)
• Ability to self-motivate with a willingness to learn and display a positive attitude to champion training initiatives
• Willingness and ability to work all shifts, as required
Additional Considerations
• Education or training experience in the field of healthcare and/or adult learning preferred
• Certification in CPR and/or Therapeutic Options highly preferred
