Job Duties
The HR Analyst will independently manage routine human resources (HR) activities and support management in delivering effective HR services. This role involves comprehensive handling of recruitment processes, benefits administration, transaction processing, and record management. The HR Analyst will perform analysis, provide guidance to managers and staff, and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performance Management:
o Supervise and conduct performance evaluations for HR support positions as applicable.
o Ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy in HR deliverables.
o Provide necessary training and monitor workplace safety.
2. Recruitment & Selection:
o Conduct end-to-end recruitment for wage and classified roles, ensuring EEO compliance.
o Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, prepare job postings, and oversee interview processes.
o Review recruitment documents, screen applications, and assist with offer letter preparation and onboarding.
o Manage background checks and ensure accurate completion of onboarding documentation.
3. Onboarding & Training:
o Coordinate and facilitate onboarding for new hires, including orientation and benefits discussions.
o Prepare benefits packages, create personnel files, and assist employees with necessary forms and procedures.
o Support training sessions using established materials.
4. Benefits & Related HR Practices:
o Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries on benefits, including health insurance, leave, and workers' compensation.
o Process and submit benefits-related documents and ensure timely handling of workers' compensation incidents.
o Manage separation processes, including final benefits calculations and terminations.
5. Transaction & Records Management:
o Prepare and process various HR transactions, such as employment actions, pay adjustments, and record updates.
o Oversee accurate completion and submission of HR documentation, including teleworking and alternative work schedule requests.
o Maintain HR records in line with retention policies, coordinating records disposal as needed.
6. Customer Service & Technical Assistance:
o Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding HR services and policies.
o Provide prompt and professional customer service to employees and applicants.
o Deliver technical support and guidance on HR procedures as required.
7. Other Duties:
o Perform additional HR tasks as needed, which may include support during emergency declarations

o Proficiency in coordinating records retention and disposal activities, following proper authorization and documentation protocols.
6. Customer Service & Technical Assistance:
o Advanced customer service skills for responding to HR-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
o Proficiency in providing technical assistance on HR procedures, policies, and systems in a responsive and professional manner.
