Job Duties

This position serves as a on call receptionist when the employees are on vacation, sick or holidays. You would need to be available to work Dayshift (6:30am-3pm) and Evenings (3pm-11pm) during the week.

Answer multi-line phone, transfer calls to proper individuals and take messages. Monitor fire alarm system/monitor the facility cameras. Sell meal tickets and stamps to guest, family members and facility employees. Make initial record of cash received for employee meals. Responsible for keeping a daily log of activity going on for shift being worked. Give or receive report from guard. Assist facility visitors. Performs other duties as may be assigned that are within the department’s mission and as situations warrant in meeting the overall needs of the facility. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Minimum Qualifications

Basic Math skills. High School Diploma or equivalent.
