Job Duties
The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a Senior Software Engineer. The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the agency's Information Management Division.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
To serve as an ASP.NET Web and Workflow Developer for the Information Management division in the implementation and maintenance of internal and external web and workflow applications.
The developer must be skilled in building Oracle PL/SQL, T-SQL, .NET applications, technical integration with other on-line applications.
Must have the ability to learn, manage and develop workflow applications with COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) applications such as Oracle Apex, DocuSign and K2 /Nintex. Must be creative, require minimal supervision, and be able to work cooperatively with the web automation team lead, IM project manager, IM project management staff, other members of the project team, and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:
Considerable experience and knowledge of Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, T-SQL front end web development - XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript-based frameworks such as Angular and JQuery.
Considerable experience with back-end web development - C#,MVC architecture, ASP.NET frameworks, XML, and other modern web technologies, protocols, and services as well as web services.
Considerable experience in Business Process Automation.
Considerable experience in databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.
Knowledge in or experience interpreting and applying federal state lows and state regulations.
Experience in meeting deadlines.
Experience with internal and external stakeholders.
Considerable experience in using version control systems like Azure DevOps, SVN, TFS, GIT.
Considerable experience of database maintenance, data warehousing, ETL Concepts, client-server application architecture, telecommunications aspects of multi-platform systems.
Additional Considerations
Competitive candidates should meet these additional considerations:
Experience developing and maintaining workflows using Oracle Apex, K2/Nintex, DocuSign, Microsoft Power Platform and other workflow systems through a variety of development and hosting platforms sites, solutions.
Experience developing and maintaining system documentation, including technical specifications, data mapping, program logic and flowcharts.
Considerable experience of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Considerable experience debugging and troubleshooting applications, layout and scripting issues across a variety of browsers.
