Job Duties
1. Teach on-campus undergraduate courses in US History.
2. Engage in exemplary face-to-face and use the university’s learning management system
(Blackboard Ultra).
3. Collegially engage with students, staff, and other faculty members.
4. Meet university deadlines for submitting grades and other reports.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Must possess a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in History.
2. Demonstrate a strong potential to effectively teach World History.
3. Demonstrate potential to effectively use an online learning management system.
(Blackboard Ultra or similar).
4. Demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching.
5. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, personal integrity, and a
demonstrated commitment to diversity.
Additional Considerations
1. Experience teaching World History in higher education.
2. Possess a PhD in History with extensive graduate coursework in World History.
