Job Duties
This position serves as the subject matter expert for the Marine Resources Commission’s Licensing Program, to include the Commercial Fishing Licensing System. Day to day administration of, and responsibility for data input, system maintenance, problem resolution and report generation for agency commercial and recreational automated licensing systems, and all associated systems records. Operates the business and administrative functions for licensing sales. Data Custodian of the Commercial Fishing License System, protecting data and providing backup and recovery systems.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Graduate required. Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and promote a harmonious team effort agency wide. Must be proficient with automated systems; Microsoft Office to include Excel, OneDrive and Teams; (strong skill set in excel working with formulas, charts and diagrams preferred), fax machines, calculator, copier, telephone with multiple lines; be familiar with basic bookkeeping/accounting principles and practices. Must be self-starter, organized, able to coordinate and execute tasks, projects, etc., able to meet deadlines, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced education or experience in business, database management, data entry, permitting and licensing, and/or accounting preferred.

Note: This position requires the ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally; pushing and pulling; standing; sitting; reaching; walking; bending; and stooping.
