Job Duties

This position processes applications and generates licenses for over $600,000 in annual revenue to the Office of Environmental Health Services.

· Processing all incoming licensure applications to determine license eligibility according to regulatory requirements.
· Updating license information and payments to licensee accounts in the program database, ensuring all licensee information is correct and up to date.
· Generating licenses and distributing them to license holders by email or mail.
· Completing monthly invoicing activities.
· Completing monthly reconciliation activities.
· Serves as point of contact for the public and the Bedding Program staff for all license processing and data entry questions.
· Placing payments on hold or returning them due to lack of provided information or problems with payment sent and/or application.
· Maintaining the log for new sanitizer facilities and assigning them to the appropriate compliance officer.
· Research for retail inspections once they have been completed and sending out NOAVs (Notice of Alleged Violation).
· Travel documentation
· Office mainline phone coverage which includes intake of complaints from the public and referrals to local health departments.

Minimum Qualifications

· Working knowledge of computer and software technology, use of policies & procedures and customer service;
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, orally and written
· Strong organizational skills and experience with software applications and Microsoft Office products (i.e. WORD, EXCEL, and database entry) and general office equipment (i.e. copier, and calculator);
· Ability and experience with setting up and maintaining files & manuals
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Ability to follow and apply established procedures and applicable policies
