Job Duties
Job Summary – We are seeking a motivated team member to join our collaborative staff as a Deputy Clerk (Grade 8) in an open office environment. This role involves handling operational responsibilities, preparing legal documents accurately, and assisting judges, attorneys, and the public with courtesy. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and be detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multitask in a high-volume office.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities – Prepare court documents according to guidelines, enter data into the case management system, schedule court matters and prepare daily dockets, assist the public at the front counter and handle phone inquiries, assess and receipt fines and costs.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; court or office experience preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable managing financial transactions and handling confidential materials. Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Additional Considerations

Physical Demands - While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to lift/carry 10+ pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing, and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment, walking, sitting, standing, reaching, twisting and kneeling to perform the essential functions.
