Job Duties
The Deputy Clerk will perform a wide range of clerical duties including, but not limited to,
interaction with the public and other agencies via in person customer service at the front counter as well as via telephone. Must be able to explain complex policies and procedures efficiently. Additional duties my include case management data entry, intake and review of court documents, preparing detailed court documents and correspondence in accordance with established guidelines, preparing court dockets, assisting the Judge in the courtroom, assessing court costs and fines, post court processing of cases to include scheduling and issuing of post court documents, and other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Desired skills for the position are experience in customer service, money handling, general office related skills such as filing, data entry, and working a multi-line phone system.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience-
The most competitive applicants will possess experience working in the legal field such as an attorney’s office or previous court experience.
