Job Duties

Store Clerk. VMI is accepting applications for a full-time Store Clerk.
Primary responsibility:
• Measuring and fitting of uniform items for all male cadets.
• Other duties include providing customer service in the Military Store.
• Executing sales & charge transactions
• Maintaining ongoing inventory
• Maintaining records as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to physically lift merchandise (up to 50lbs) to stock shelves and move inventory as needed, walking, climbing stairs and standing for long periods of time.
Knowledge of cash register/credit card operations, inventory procedures & basic mathematics.
Experience in MS Windows – Excel, Word, Access.
Customer service interaction

Additional Considerations

Experience in MS Windows – Excel, Word, Access desired. Must be able to work independently, self-motivated, customer- oriented, possess excellent communications skills & enjoy working in a team atmosphere. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid motor vehicle driver’s license required.
