Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of basic horticultural practices.
Experience with planting and maintaining flower or vegetable gardens.
Working knowledge of shrub and small tree care.
Ability to apply pesticides and herbicides.

Additional Considerations

Knowledge of historic plants and cultivation practices.
Interest and/or experience in interpreting the historic landscape or gardens for the
public.
