Job Duties

The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a Platform Coordinator in the Senior Commercial Contract Management Division.

The Platform Coordinator reports to the Senior Commercial Contracts Manager and duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating, scheduling, and organizing events, meetings, and supporting initiatives to aid in managing supplier relationships, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction.

This position will work collaboratively with Commercial Contract Managers, VITA Service Owners, Finance, Transition Managers, Performance Managers and Governance Coordinators to manage the strategy, relationship, and performance of all suppliers in the ITISP.

Please note this is a temporary position without telework options.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience managing and building positive relationships with multiple teams and levels of staff.

• Experience providing clear and accurate written details to document discussions, risks, actions, decisions, and next steps.

• Skilled in oral and written communication as it pertains to technical information, interpreting complex data, and providing informed analysis.

• Understanding of how information technology infrastructure services are provided in an outsourced environment, and detailed knowledge of how to govern/oversee underpinning contracts.

• Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, schedule, lead meetings, guide discussions to manage time, and follow up on action items needed to meet deadlines and achieve successful outcomes.

• Experience managing a workload that includes multiple tasks with similar objectives and various priorities.

• Experience gathering and analyzing data to produce schedules, timelines, and reports, to aid in problem solving and decision making.

• Intermediate skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Teams, and other data analytics tools.

• Results oriented with strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.

• Knowledge of technology services contracts and the methods employed to manage supplier relationships and performance.

• Experience collecting, preparing, transforming, analyzing and interpreting data.
