The HR Analyst will independently perform HR functions for the district that include the following:
- Recruitment and selection
- Compensation and classification
- Benefits Administration
- Personnel transactions
- New employee orientation for full-time, wage and contracting staff
- Interpret and apply policies, procedures and regulations.
- Provide employee consultations
- Respond to FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests
- Assist employees with Short Term disability, and FLMA claims
- Develop district training plans
- Maintain employee work profiles
- Assist managers with performance management issues
- Collaborate with the Regional HR Business Parter on various district needs
- Other HR duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
• Working knowledge of human resource programs, regulations and guidelines;
• Working knowledge and demonstrated experience working with recruitment and selection techniques and strategies, and classification and compensation practices;
• Knowledge and experience working with benefits and the processing of personnel transactions;
• Ability to interpret and apply applicable policies and procedures;
• Ability to prepare, process, track and file a large volume of employment and position transactions;
• Strong computer, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
Additional Considerations
• Experience/training in Human Resources, Business or related field;
• Knowledge of state benefit and recruitment systems (Cardinal & PageUp);
• Working knowledge of DHRM Human Resource policies & procedures
