Job Duties
Dietary Aide Supervisor oversees the daily operations of dietary aides, ensuring meals are prepared, served and cleaned up in accordance with facility standards, nutrition guidelines, and sanitary regulations. This role ensures quality service for residents and supports overall kitchen operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of regulations related to sanitation of kitchen, dining area and food service equipment.
Supervisor skills in coordinating the activities of dietary aides during food preparation, service and cleanup.
Knowledge in meal preparation and serving to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to dietary requirements.
Knowledge with inventory control, including ordering, stocking and checking food supplies.
Additional Considerations
Previous supervisor experience preferred. Previous hospital or long term care setting experience. Must be Serv Safe certified within one year of employment.
