Job Duties

Western State Hospital is seeking a full time Store and Warehouse Specialist II to receive, inspect and store goods ordered by the hospital: Prepare logs, complete receiving paperwork; enter inventory received into the FMS/EVA and purchasing database; document item counts, shortages and damaged goods according to establish guidelines; process UPS shipments; and make inquiries regarding past due shipments, advising purchasing and customers status.

The Store and Warehouse Specialist II will also receive shipments through common carriers, verifying shipments, noting any damages, assisting delivery personnel and contacting vendors/carriers to correct any discrepancies; accurately check all items on a daily basis against purchase orders, (EVA/FMS) correctly labeling, storing and posting items to bin cards, inventory system (FMS) correcting any discrepancies; safely store incoming stock supplies, rotating all stock with expiration dates; complete daily and monthly inventory reports and do complete a FULL inventory from beginning to end;' and Appropriately accepts work direction from supervisors and request clarification when needed, in a respectful manner.

Minimum Qualifications

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Virginia Driver's license
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to process inventory and generate inventory reports

- Advanced Degree (Associates, Bachelors, etc.)
- Forklift license
- Procurement and/or inventory control experience
- Bilingual
- Veteran/Veteran Spouse
