This Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of quality resident care during assigned shifts for the Memory Care Unit. This role providers leadership and guidance to CNAs and nurses, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and facility policies and procedures. The Nurse Supervisor services as the primary point of contact for staff during shift, facilitates effective communication between team members, addresses resident and family concerns and ensures a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment for all residents and staff. This supervisory position is also responsible for the management of staff. Maintaining sound organizational relationship with staff, resident and families while ensuring that continuous quality care is provided. Ensure the implementation, maintenance and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with regulatory standards, the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Nursing and the organization’s mission, goals and objectives.
Shift Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm M-F.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent clinical knowledge of Alzheimer’s & Dementia and skill to assess and develop patient care plans specific to dementia related care; demonstrated ability to coordinate, delegate, communicate and problem solve; ability to supervise and evaluate both patient care and staff performance; ability to instruct and train patients and staff.
