Job Duties

The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is hiring for a Use Agreement Technician for a position with its Use Agreement Services Work Center in Richmond, Virginia. The Work Center provides governmental and non-governmental users access to DMV records, ensuring compliance with federal and state statutes.

The Use Agreement Technician is responsible for assisting with daily operations of the Use Agreement Services Work Center. This role includes processing applications, setting up contracts, managing customer access to DMV data, and ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards. Additionally, the technician handles administrative duties related to the Okta platform and supports the efficient and secure release of DMV information.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or data management.
• Experience interpreting and explaining compliance guidelines, policies, and procedures to customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other office software.
• Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with internal and external customers.

Additional Considerations

• Familiarity with DMV systems such as CSS and OnBase.
• Knowledge of DMV policies, procedures, and applicable legal statutes.
• Experience managing access control systems such as Okta or similar platforms.
