Job Duties
To assist/support the Agribusiness Logistics Manager in maintenance of perpetual logistics systems at the Meat Plant that ensure the supply of goods and services that are being provided to Food Service statewide. To maintain an intensive working knowledge of these systems and programs and to perform accurate, organized and detail-oriented management.
This is a hourly position limited to working no more than 1,500 hours per agency during the 12-month period of May 1 – April 30, regardless of the hire date. The hourly employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All hourly employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. This hourly position offers no state benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge & skilled application of modern office management/secretarial practices & techniques. Possess computer application and technology skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain records, track inventories, input data and generate reports. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as a team, prioritize tasks, and possess good
organizational skills. Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to relate well with the general public and staff. Demonstrated ability to work in high pressure environments and consistently perform at a high level. High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Considerations
Knowledge of task management and time management skills. Knowledge of state procurement practices. Knowledge of inmate supervision practices.
