Job Duties

This position serves to support staff with the necessary knowledge to support workplace performance and maintain departmental records in keeping with accrediting bodies CMS and JCAHO DBHDS/DHRM standards.

Person should have the following:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel to update spreadsheets and create charts and graphs
• Ability to deliver training to adult audiences of various sizes
• Ability to use presentation equipment (e.g. laptop, television monitor)
• Ability to self-motivate with a willingness to learn and display a positive attitude to champion training initiatives
• Willingness and ability to work all shifts, as required
• Administrative experience with the Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Management System, including generating reports – highly preferred
• Certification as an American Heart Association CPR Instructor – highly preferred
• Certification as a Therapeutic Options Instructor – highly preferred

Minimum Qualifications

Experience delivering in-person training.

Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel to update spreadsheets and create charts and graphs.

Additional Considerations

Current certification as a Therapeutic Options instructor and AHA CPR instructor highly preferred.

Experience with the Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Management Systems (LMS) highly preferred.

Experience in healthcare preferred.
