Job Duties

This position provides administrative support to the Acute Care Division within the Office of Licensure and Certification. The daily tasks include following established CMS guidelines to review, process and update submitted certification applications for Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) facilities. Additional tasks include responding to inquiries via email and phone, and digitally terminate, reactivate and change certificate types.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of office procedures, computer and software technology, use of policies &
procedures and customer service
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, orally and written
• Strong organizational skills and experience with software applications and Microsoft
Office products (i.e. WORD, EXCEL, and database entry) and general office equipment
(copier, fax, calculator)
• Ability and experience with setting up and maintaining files & manuals
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to follow and apply established procedures and applicable policies

Additional Considerations

• Experience working in or with CLIA facility types
