The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a Senior Program Advisor The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the Office of Community Living Division.

This position serves as the senior program advisor for the Office of Community Living. This position will serve as a liaison for the Division Director in the management and monitoring projects related to clinical and administrative operations. The Senior Programs Advisor will provide strategic oversight of project management, research, planning, team building, and program design activities to support high-quality operations in compliance with Federal & State regulations, General Assembly, and DMAS program requirements. The business needs for this position have in office requirements to include but are not limited to attending in-person meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:
Extensive experience in Medicaid long-term services with an emphasis on home and community-based supports.
Considerable experience in project management, including leading project teams and stakeholder groups.
Considerable experience in developing and conducting training.
Considerable experience in program development, planning, and implementation.
Considerable experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
Considerable experience in meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
Knowledge in the interpretation and application of federal and state laws and regulations.
Extensive experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Considerable experience in conducting team-building activities to build group cohesiveness and morale.
Considerable experience in collecting, organizing, and interpreting data.
