Job Duties
Teach 9 undergraduate and graduate semester hours in Accounting. Courses include a combination of undergraduate (lower level and upper level courses), and graduate courses. The selected candidates will be expected to teach courses using a variety of delivery formats, conduct research, serve on assigned departmental, college and university committees, and advise students. Candidates are expected to teach courses in Federal Income Tax, Financial Accounting, Cost/Managerial Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, and other accounting courses.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified candidates must hold a PhD (or ABD) in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems from an AACSB accredited business school. Candidates must have sufficient qualifications to meet AACSB criteria for scholarly academic (SA) status. Some college teaching experience is required. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with publications in quality journals and/or research pipeline, and candidates with CPA, CMA or other certifications in accounting.
