Job Duties

Responsible for all food preparation such as hot and cold food prep including vegetables, salad, baking, proteins, and desserts. Work with special diets. Serve meals in a resident dining area. Assemble assorted diet food, mechanically altered, other requirements and daily snacks. Responsible for next day breakfast, lunch, or dinner, prep and catered/special events prep.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous experience preferred. Must be Serv Safe certified within one year of employment.
Hampton Roads Fats, Oil, and Grease Training aka HR F.O.G. Certification Required

Additional Considerations

Three years experience in institutional food preparation or related field is desirable.
