Job Duties
Western State Hospital is seeking an energetic individual to fill the position of Staffing Coordinator for the nursing department. This position oversees operational and administrative support in a centralized scheduling office. The candidate will ensure adequate staffing coverage throughout the facility on a daily basis. Applicant must be able to work independently and effectively. The position available is 1st shift 5:00 am-3:30 pm with every other weekend. The successful applicant must work every other weekend. Holidays and overtime, as needed, will be required. The nursing department requires all employees to attend pre-service orientation for three weeks, attendance is required.

Minimum Qualifications
KSA’s and/or Competencies required to successfully perform the work (attach Competency Model, if applicable):
Excellent KSA’s and competence in data entry, typing and clerical skills are required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and boundaries are essential. Experience using MS Office Suite required. Experience in automated data systems is preferred. Prior experience in administrative duties in a fast paced highly stressful environment which required precision and detail work is preferred. Must be able to work independently. Experience in handling confidential and sensitive matters is preferred. Demonstrates ability to organize and work under pressure balancing a variety of priorities

Experience using automated data systems is preferred. Ability to generate reports from various software systems preferred.
Prior work experience performing administrative duties in a fast-paced, stressful environment where precision and detailed work is essential is preferred.
