Job Duties

Western State Hospital is seeking a part time/wage Rehab Assistant to assist in the development of and implementation of therapeutic interventions within the psychosocial treatment program; provide open leisure programming available to all patients of Western State Hospital; and provide on-unit programming on admissions units. This position will also conduct 4-6 hours of psychosocial rehabilitation interventions per week, according to approved schedules; ensure that interventions are appropriate to individual clients' ages, interests, and abilities as reflected by assessment data; is accountable for tracking patient attendance and participation for weekend programming on admission PCU; complete planning and evaluation forms related to programming; demonstrate competency as psychosocial rehab facilitator by obtaining passing score on staff competency summary; and make arrangements for coverage with other part time and P-14 staff when unable to work assigned schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
