Job Duties

Virginia Energy is seeking a skilled professional to help ensure that mineral resource extraction in the Commonwealth is conducted responsibly and in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. This role involves reviewing and evaluating permit applications to confirm adherence to Virginia’s mineral extraction and reclamation regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge and skills in computer operations including Microsoft Office, Virginia’s E-forms, and DE Receipting System programs.
Knowledge of and ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Ability to make sound decisions based on Virginia’s mining regulatory program.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and procedures.
