Job Duties
Ability to plan and implement goal oriented RT treatment appropriate to the needs of adult/geriatric, psychriatric patients. Attend and actively participate in scheduled patient related conferences. Demonstrate good oral and written skills for communicating patient progress. Ability to integrate knowledge, skills, abilities and RT principles to practice. Ability to complete age-specific assessments and evaluations. Must be able to drive State Van in order to safely transport patients to activities and outings. Ability to act in the capacity of essential personnel during emergency/crisis situations.
Minimum Qualifications
•Valid driver’s license. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Experience in applying behavioral intervention methods.
•Experience as a service provider in an inpatient program for mentally ill, mentally challenged or substance abuse patients.
•Experience working with psychiatric patients in a clinical setting.
•Experience in activity/group planning and implementation.
